Parent Education Series to Address Challenging Behavior at Home
In partnership with the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), the Haring
Center for Inclusive Education is seeking parents and caregivers of children ages 12-18
years old (DDA eligible) with challenging behavior to participate in an online parent education series.
In this series, you will learn behavioral skills and strategies that aim to increase quality of life, develop a community of support with other families and decrease your child’s engagement in challenging behavior. You will receive weekly support from a team with experts, including a Behavior Analyst, Special Education Teacher and Mental Health provider, as well as a parent of an adult with a disability. This project will also include weekly handouts on the behavioral skills and strategies to decrease challenging behavior at home.
Sessions are on Zoom Tuesdays from 12:00-1:15pm for 12 weeks.
