Special Olympics Flag Football

Special Olympics No Contact Flag Football is starting this month. The registration event is Sept 20, 2021 from 3:30-4:30pm at Rotary Park (at the left end of the parking lot past the bathrooms at the ball diamonds). Athletes must pre-register in person to sign paperwork, go over protocols, make sure athlete forms are up to date and get information for the season.

Practices will be on Mondays: Oct 4, 11, 18, 25 and Nov 1, 8, 15

Adults over age 21 4:30-5:30pm

Ages 8-21 3:30-4:15pm

Courageous Kids Climbing Event

Oct 9, 2021 1-3pm CWU Climbing Center.

Up to 20 people with disabilities, physical or developmental, ages 3-103 :-) are invited to join in the fun. Event to be held at the Central Washington University Climbing Center in Ellensburg. Registration is required. Contact KitttiasCountyParent2Parent@gmail.com for information.

Sibshops Starting in September

Sibshops are opportunities for brothers and sisters of children with special needs (developmental disabilities, mental health concerns or chronic health conditions) to obtain peer support, education, and share their stories in a fun recreational envrionment. Free program for siblings ages 6-12.

Sibshops are scheduled for the last Thursday of the month at Valley View Elementary Library.

Sept 28, Oct 26, Nov 30, and Dec 28, 2021 from 6-7:30pm
