For the English PLTI click here For the Spanish PLTI click here The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is a free, 12-week online course that teaches parents to understand systems and develop community, civic and school engagement skills. Parents develop a project that benefits their schools and communities. The course offers five, free elective college credits for those who graduate. PLTI classes begin Saturday, September 17th, and end with graduation on Saturday, December 17th. Classes are held online on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 noon and one weeknight: Wednesdays (Spanish), Thursdays (English), from 6 pm to 9 pm. The Children's Leadership Training Institute (CLTI) is a free, virtual, reading-based school and civic leadership course offered only to the children (ages 6 to 12) of parents enrolled in the PLTI. Participants receive free, age-appropriate books to create their home libraries. CLTI classes begin Sept 27th and end December 17th. Classes are held online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
